I am a surviver of global warming. At one point the earth was suffering from the terrifying effects of global warming. It was an issue that had been growing over time, and effecting people all around the world. Global Warming was caused by greenhouse gases produced by burning fossil fuels and forests. This issue began to cause climate change which then effected us, as well as animals, our forests, and many natural resources. If global warming had continued, scientist say that there will be a large shortage of food and water, and will also have very dramatic changes on the earths wildlife. Some people did not believe that there in danger by global warming, but they are. There has been proof of global warming shown over and over again. At the time the environment was becoming more endangered every second. Things such as industrialization, pollution, and deforestation are helping in the causes of global warming. Methane, carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gases are getting trapped in the surface near the earth, putting us and our environment in danger. Many negative things happened in result of global warming, because greenhouse gases are stuck in near the earth's surface, it started to heat up, and caused the weather to increase. The weather change caused glaciers to melt, islands to sink, and heat waves. Luckily, people began making changes in there everyday lives, which led to a better earth today. The world was in danger, but due to changes people made back than, we have a healthier earth to live in. They made changes such as walking, biking or taking public transportation, instead of driving themselves individually. They even created hybrid cars, which was a form of mobile transportation that was less harmful that the regular car. This helped because cars and other mobile transportations used gases that grew to be harmful to the earth. Another big way they saved the earth was by using "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". This meant reducing usage of things that are harmful to the environment, reusing old materials instead of buying more, and recycling anything old to new. With these simple changes in their everyday lives, a new healthier earth was created for us today.
